Qualifications

• Erfahrung in der Qualitätsinspektion von Maschinen- und Fertigungsteilen.
• Fähigkeit, technische Zeichnungen zu lesen und zu verstehen.

Responsibilities

• Durchführung von Qualitätsinspektionen und Erstellung von Nichtkonformitätsberichten.
• Wartung und Kalibrierung von Messgeräten.

Job description

Goods-In Quality Inspector required for a well-established machinery manufacturer based in Basingstoke, who due to continued success are seeking an enthusiastic Goods-In Inspector to join their team.

Goods-In Inspector Job Overview

• Carrying out quality inspection of goods, including machined and fabricated parts
• Raising non-conformance reports
• Maintaining goods inspection procedures
• Utilising calibrated measuring equipment
• Assisting with the packaging of goods

Goods-In Inspector Job Requirements

• Previous experience within an engineering/manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to read and understand technical drawings.
• Experienced in the use of M365 and a good knowledge of computerised stock control and ERP systems.
• Be able to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
• Good time keeping & physically fit for lifting. (Lifting up to 20kg)
• Maintenance of measuring equipment including yearly calibration recording.
• Clean driving license - as role will require driving for local collections and inspections from suppliers.

Goods-In Inspector Salary & Benefits

• 5 hour working week. Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:00. Permanent position.
• 30 days holiday, including bank holidays
