Responsibilities

• Receive and record deliveries in line with SOPs.
• Break down deliveries into product lines for processing.
• Check deliveries for damage, shortages, excess stock and expiry dates.
• Create and maintain documentation and system records.
• Produce carton labels and quarantine stock when required.
• Identify and report licensing or delivery discrepancies.
• Support internal quality audits and compliance standards.
• Keep work area clean, organised and safe.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient flow of goods.

Job Title: Goods In Operative

Location: Salford
Salary: £26,422.50 per annum

Working Pattern:Monday to Friday 14:30 to 22:30

Are you an organised and detail-focused warehouse professional looking to join a fast-paced distribution environment? We're looking for a Goods In Operative to become a key member of our warehouse team in Salford.

What You'll Be Doing

As part of the Goods In team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring incoming pharmaceutical products are received, checked and processed accurately and safely. Your responsibilities will include:

• Receiving and recording deliveries in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Breaking down deliveries into individual product lines ready for processing.
• Checking deliveries for damage, shortages, excess stock and expiry dates.
• Creating and maintaining accurate documentation and system records.
• Producing carton identification labels and ensuring stock is correctly quarantined where required.
• Identifying and reporting any licensing or delivery discrepancies.
• Supporting internal quality audits and maintaining compliance standards.
• Keeping your work area clean, organised and safe.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure an efficient flow of goods through the warehouse.
