Job summary

Gi Group UK is seeking an experienced Goods In Operative to join a busy warehouse in Lichfield (WS14). You will check deliveries against paperwork, book stock in, and keep the goods-in area orderly and compliant with standards.

The role is hands-on, requires confidence with handheld scanners and computers, and the ability to work accurately and independently on fixed shifts: 08:00-16:00 or 10:00-18:00.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Goods In / warehouse role.
• Confident with paperwork, computers and handheld scanners.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently; strong accuracy and organisation.

Job Title: Experienced Goods In Operative

Location: Lichfield, WS14

Pay Rate: £13.50 per hour

We're looking for an experienced Goods In Operative to join a busy warehouse operation in Lichfield (WS14). This is a hands‑on role for someone who's confident with checking deliveries accurately, working to paperwork, and keeping standards high across the goods‑in area.

Shift options (fixed - non-rotating)

You will work one of the below shifts (they do not rotate):

08:00 - 16:00
10:00 - 18:00

Note: shift times may change slightly to meet business requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately checking deliveries against paperwork (attention to detail is essential)
• Booking stock in and updating systems
• Operating handheld scanners and working on a computer
• Maintaining a tidy, organised goods-in and warehouse area
• Supporting general warehouse tasks as required
