Job summary

The Best Connection in Leeds is seeking a Warehouse Operative (Goods In/Out) for our LS11 site. The role runs 12:00pm-8:00pm, Monday to Friday, with an immediate start. It is a temporary to long-term opportunity with potential for a permanent role for the right candidate.

You will handle goods in and out, receive deliveries, prepare orders, load/unload vehicles, use handheld scanners, and maintain stock records while following health and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience is beneficial but not essential.
• Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks.
• Good spoken English and clear communication.

We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative (Goods In/Out) to join a busy and fast-paced warehouse operation based in LS11, Leeds. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for stable, full-time work with the potential to secure a long-term position.

The Role

Working within the goods in and goods out department, you will be responsible for ensuring stock is received, processed and dispatched accurately. This is a physically demanding role, so applicants must be comfortable with manual handling and being on their feet throughout the shift.

Duties Include:

• Receiving and booking in deliveries
• Preparing orders for dispatch
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Moving stock safely around the warehouse
• Using handheld scanners and warehouse technology to track inventory
• Carrying out stock checks and maintaining accurate records
• Ensuring all health and safety procedures are followed

What We're Looking For:

• Previous warehouse experience is beneficial but not essential
• Happy to undertake physical work and manual handling duties
• Good spoken English and communication skills
• Comfortable using technology such as handheld scanners and warehouse systems
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking
• Able to work effectively as part of a team

Pay & Hours:

• £12.71 per hour
• £13.71 per hour after 6:00pm
• Monday to Friday
• 12:00pm - 8:00pm
