Job summary

RACV is seeking a hands on Golf Shop Supervisor to support the smooth, profitable and service-focused operation of our Golf Shop. You’ll lead the Golf Shop team, deliver high-quality service to members and guests, support daily operations and contribute to golf events and days.

Working with the Golf Operations Manager, you’ll handle rostering, stock, merchandising, cash handling and the shop’s presentation while building strong member relationships and promoting RACV facilities and services.

Qualifications

• Experience in a supervisory role within a retail outlet.
• Strong leadership and operational management skills.
• Golf playing knowledge and understanding of golfing etiquette.
• Knowledge of golf equipment, rules, handicapping and course etiquette.
• Understanding of customer management, service standards, selling, cross-selling and upselling techniques.
• Ability to build rapport and manage member feedback.
• Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate, or willingness to obtain one on the job.
• Knowledge of MICLUB systems.
• Experience in golf operations at a golf course.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate Golf Shop team activities.
• Assist with rostering, stock management and merchandising.
• Handle cash, member inquiries and equipment hire.
• Ensure premium presentation of the Golf Shop.
• Build strong member and guest relationships and promote RACV facilities.
