Job summary

St Leonards School in St Andrews is seeking an Assistant Director of Golf to lead day‑to‑day operations of the golf programme and manage admissions liaison. The role is 0.5 FTE with flexibility for evenings and weekends, reporting to the Director of Sport and Director of Golf.

You will coordinate coaching schedules, travel, tournaments and pupil development, ensuring high standards of welfare and engagement for pupils and families.

Qualifications

• Experience in sports administration, event coordination or programme management.
• Strong organisational and planning skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities; experience with parents and external stakeholders.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and digital administration systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day delivery of the golf programme and admissions liaison.
• Coordinate coaching schedules, trips and pupil progress.
• Manage tournaments, travel and event logistics.
• Oversee communications with pupils, families and staff.
• Run Open Days, recruitment events and information evenings.
• Ensure safeguarding and welfare procedures are followed.
