St Leonards is seeking an Assistant Director of Golf to lead day-to-day delivery of the golf programme for pupils, under the Director of Golf. The role involves recruitment, communications with families, travel logistics and event management, in addition to coordinating coaching and safeguarding practices.

Salary is competitive and requires approximately 18.75–20 hours per week (0.5 FTE), with flexibility for evenings and weekends; based in Scotland.

Formación

• Experience in sports administration, event coordination or programme management, including organising travel, competitions or events.
• Strong organisational and planning skills with attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with experience dealing with parents and external stakeholders.
• Competence in Microsoft Office and digital administration systems, and confidence in maintaining records and coordinating schedules.
• Professional, approachable and reliable manner; flexible and practical in solving problems.
• Commitment to safeguarding and welfare procedures in a high-performance sporting environment.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the operational delivery of golf recruitment and act as the principal contact for prospective Golf Programme families.
• Deliver tours of the golf facilities and meetings with prospective parents and pupils.
• Own golf arrangements for Open Days, Showcase Days and recruitment events.
• Own coaching schedules and ensure the coaching programme is delivered in line with the Director of Golf’s philosophy and standards.
• Monitor operational delivery and pupil feedback; raise gaps and implement improvements.
• Ensure safeguarding and compliance are maintained across the programme.
