Job summary

St Leonards is seeking an Assistant Director of Golf to lead day-to-day delivery of the golf programme and oversee admissions liaison, travel and events. The role requires strong organisational skills and experience in sports administration within a high-performance school setting.

The post holder will coordinate coaching schedules, manage recruitment events, and ensure safeguarding and welfare standards are upheld across all activities and trips.

Qualifications

• Experience in sports administration, event coordination or programme management.
• Strong organisational and planning skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with experience dealing with parents and external stakeholders.
• Competence in Microsoft Office and digital administration systems, with confidence in maintaining records and coordinating schedules.
• Commitment to safeguarding and pupil welfare procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day delivery of the golf programme and admissions liaison.
• Manage coaching schedules, travel, competitions, and pupil experiences.
• Coordinate recruitment events, Open Days and communications with families.
• Liaise with Heads of Year and Directors for programme progression and safeguarding compliance.
• Ensure facilities, transport, trips and events are planned and delivered to the school standards.
