Job summary

Southwick Park Golf Club near Fareham and Portsmouth is seeking a motivated apprentice for daily course maintenance and development of practical skills. You will work with our team and KEITS to complete a Level 2 Sports Turf or Golf Green Keeping Business Administration Apprenticeship. Starts 1 November 2026 with onsite training, 40 hours weekly, 6am–2pm, some weekends, and opportunities for progression.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths required as listed.
• Driving license advantageous but not essential; commuting to work is required.
• Good reliability and teamwork are essential.
• Interest in golf and willingness to learn required.

Responsibilities

• Daily course maintenance & setup.
• Using & maintaining pedestrian and ride-on course maintenance machinery.
• Mowing.
• Course set up.
• Changing holes.
• Moving tee markers.
• Bunker preparation.
• Construction & drainage work on the golf course.
• Tree & woodland maintenance.
