Lloyds Banking Group is seeking a Backend Software Engineer to design and sustain Golang microservices powering financial products. You will collaborate with product, engineering and business stakeholders to deliver customer-focused solutions and help shape system design.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience developing backend applications in Golang.
• Experience building and supporting microservices architectures.
• Experience deploying and operating applications in containerised environments, ideally Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases.
• Experience working within agile development environments.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve issues across the application stack, including network, server and database layers.
• Experience building concurrent, distributed applications at scale.
• Experience working with DevOps or SRE teams to support production environments.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• A passion for learning, continuous improvement and delivering high-quality software.
