Job summary

Fujifilm Biotechnologies in Billingham, UK, is seeking a Lead Production Technologist to lead GMP manufacturing and technology transfer operations.

You will be the primary manufacturing contact from batch preparation through execution and disposition, ensuring EHS and cGMP standards are met while coordinating resources to meet plan. You’ll also lead investigations, contribute to continuous improvement, and liaise with customers and regulatory bodies, providing line leadership for a small team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in a GMP manufacturing environment.
• Experience authoring and/or reviewing GMP documentation.
• Understanding of biopharmaceutical USP/DSP manufacturing processes.
• GCSE English and Maths at grade C or above.
• Flexibility for on-demand working/on-call as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead GMP manufacturing and technology transfer operations.
• Be primary manufacturing contact from batch prep through disposition.
• Coordinate resources to meet schedule targets and milestones.
• Lead investigations and root cause analyses to resolve deviations.
• Engage with customers and regulatory agencies during audits.
