Job summary

Manpower UK seeks a Laboratory Technician for a three-month fixed-term contract in Dartford. The role involves preparing reagents, performing tests to meet GMP standards and production documentation. Training is provided, and the position supports development in science and manufacturing careers.

The successful candidate will work in a manufacturing lab handling reagents, intermediates and microorganisms, ensuring accuracy and adherence to SOPs and quality criteria.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a manufacturing/lab environment is preferable.
• Keen eye for detail and quality.
• Ability to work at pace while maintaining safe practices and product quality.
• Honest and open verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture and test intermediates and final reagents.
• Handle microorganisms for testing.
• Operate semi-automated production equipment.
• Assist in packing intermediates.
• Manage stock levels for responsible product ranges.
• Ensure quality of manufactured reagents and complete documentation (GMP/GLP).
• Follow SAP transactions for work performed and inventory control.
