Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking a highly motivated science graduate to join our GLP analytical team in Bedford as an Extraction Chemist. This full-time, permanent role supports regulated studies under Good Laboratory Practice.

The successful candidate will prepare and extract crop samples and environmental matrices, maintain records, and work with a team to deliver reliable data while following safety and quality procedures. Training and career progression opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• BSc in Chemistry or related scientific discipline.
• Strong attention to detail and good written/verbal communication.
• Experience in a laboratory environment desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare crop and environmental samples and conduct extractions.
• Maintain accurate records in line with GLP requirements.
• Operate and calibrate laboratory equipment and prepare reagents.
• Support study delivery and collaborate with analysts and QA.
