Job summary

Ipsen seeks a senior leader to head Biologics Process Development in the Wrexham site. The VP will drive strategy and operational execution across CMC for toxins, antibodies, ADCs, enzymes and other biologics, aligning with global PharmDev and external partners.

The role emphasizes building robust bioprocesses, regulatory readiness, and seamless tech transfer, while leading diverse, global teams and sustaining strategic partnerships with CDMOs and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Extensive biologics CMC development expertise with regulatory exposure.
• Proven leadership of global PharmDev/CMO collaborations.
• Experience building and sustaining matrix manufacturing programs.

Responsibilities

• Define and deliver a strategic CMC process development program for toxins, antibodies and biologics.
• Lead bioprocess development from pre-clinical to lifecycle, ensuring robust drug substances and tech transfer.
• Build and mentor BPD teams and drive regular leadership meetings.
