Job summary

TAG provides high-touch travel and event management for top clients worldwide. The Operational Trainer delivers technical and department training, collaborating with the Global Operations Director to form training strategies and keep staff up to date with TAG processes.

The role requires experience delivering training, strong MS Office skills, and experience with GDS Galileo. Onboarding new agents and building cross‑department relationships are key components.

Qualifications

• Education to Degree level or higher in related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience of delivering training to diverse teams.
• Proficient in MS Office and related programmes.
• 5 years of travel agent experience.
• 2 years of GDS Galileo experience.
• Comprehensive in all types of ticket reissues.
• Strong knowledge of itinerary building, fare quoting and general fares.
• Experience in group booking procedures.
• Good understanding of GDS technical aspects (scripts, plugins, etc).

Responsibilities

• Support comprehensive and consistent delivery of global training strategies to the EMEA region, in person and virtually.
• Develop a full understanding of TAG systems and software including Galileo, TAG Desktop, Front, Atris, SharePoint, and MS Office.
• Provide APS related product training to internal agents, including reissue training.
• Organise and deliver onboarding for all new agents.
• Identify and feedback training needs to the Global Operations Director – Systems & Training.
• Build and maintain relations with department managers and the wider tech team.
• Suggest improved practices to achieve departmental targets and successful programmes.
• Measure and analyse training effectiveness using various feedback methods.
