TAG Group is seeking a Senior Travel Executive to oversee and manage all aspects of corporate travel for high-profile clients. The role supports VIP itineraries, multi-city arrangements and time-sensitive schedules with discretion and precision.

Based in the UK, teams are in Manchester or Leeds, and the position offers remote or hybrid work options. The role emphasizes personalised client service, strong vendor negotiations and proactive problem solving.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant experience within a travel management company.
• GDS experience (Galileo preferred).
• Proven knowledge of airfares, contracted fares, ticketing, reissues, published airfares, flight and hotel bookings.
• Experience handling VIP, entertainment clients and/or group travel.

Responsibilities

• Manage client travel requirements, including VIP travel, while anticipating client preferences and needs.
• Analyse enquiries and requests and formulate practical travel options within budgets and requirements.
• Fully service VIP enquiries, bookings and ticketing to high standards with quality documentation.
• Report, investigate and resolve errors or client complaints maintaining high customer service standards.
• Manage QC procedures and tasks to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Process complex reissues and pricing records accurately and efficiently.
• Negotiate the best rates from vendors to reduce client expenditure and assess revenue streams.

The role of Senior Travel Executive has responsibility for booking and managing all aspects of Corporate client travel requests.

This position ensures the highest possible standards are always delivered with a personalised and individual approach to each client.

Our teams are based in Manchester or Leeds, this role can be offered either remote or hybrid. You’ll team up with colleagues across the globe to drive exciting company initiatives and uncover smarter, more innovative ways of working.

Responsibilities & Duties:

Manage client travel requirements, including VIP client travel requirements, while anticipating and understanding individual client preferences and needs.

Analyse all enquiries and requests received from clients and decide on the best options to offer. Formulate logistical itinerary plans to deliver practical travel solutions, ensuring that budgets and specific requirements are met.

Fully service all VIP enquiries, requests, bookings and ticketing with the highest standards and quality documentation. Ensure all air, rail, hotel and/or other ancillary reservations meet company and client expectations.

Report, investigate and resolve errors or/and client complaints adhering to the highest standards of customer service.

Manage Quality Control (QC) procedures and tasks.

Process complex reissues and pricing records accurately

Negotiate the best rates and deals from vendors to reduce client expenditure. Assess all potential revenue and income streams for maximum company profitability.

3+ years of relevant experience within a travel management company

GDS experience (Galileo preferred)

Proven working knowledge and experience of airfares, contracted fares, ticketing, reissues, published airfares, flight and hotel bookings

Experience handling VIP, entertainment clients and/or group travel
