Job summary

Resonant Clinical, based in Chorley, is seeking a Transportation & Logistics Sr. Associate to coordinate inbound shipments, manage customs and documentation, and drive cost-effective global movement of clinical trial equipment.

You will collaborate with sites, carriers, brokers, and internal teams to ensure on-time delivery, accurate invoicing, and compliant records while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience in transportation, logistics, freight forwarding, import/export operations, or supply chain coordination.
• Strong understanding of international shipping documentation and customs processes.
• Experience coordinating shipments across multiple regions, including EU and international destinations.
• Excellent organizational and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with ERP systems and transportation management platforms.

Responsibilities

• Prepare import and transport documents for EU and ROW shipments, ensuring compliance.
• Coordinate inbound transportation, arrange collections and bookings efficiently.
• Act as main contact for clinical sites, carriers, brokers, and internal teams.
• Monitor shipments and resolve delays to ensure on-time delivery.
• Verify freight invoices and ensure charges align with quotations and contracts.
• Maintain shipment records in ERP systems and tracking tools.
• Provide timely shipment status updates and escalate issues when needed.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in logistics and supply chain.
