WPP Media is seeking a strategic Transition Operations Director to lead the end-to-end onboarding of new clients across multiple markets in London. You will shape transition programmes, coordinate across internal functions, and drive operational excellence from day one.

You’ll navigate a matrix organization, manage senior stakeholders, and partner with WPP Production and WPP Creative to deliver integrated solutions. Hybrid office presence expected in the UK.

Qualifications

• Senior transition, programme management, or project management experience in a large-scale media agency, consultancy, or global organisation.
• Experience leading multi-market transitions for large global clients or multi-market projects.
• Expertise in applying project, programme, and change management methodologies to deliver outcomes.
• Ability to influence executive-level stakeholders and communicate clearly.

Responsabilités

• Develop end-to-end transition strategy and programme plans for new clients.
• Coordinate across markets and internal functions (client leadership, finance, legal, HR, technology).
• Manage senior client executives and internal leadership with clear communication.
• Design and implement change management to adopt new processes, tools, and teams.
• Identify and mitigate risks, with contingency plans for onboarding.
• Lead and mentor transition teams in a matrix environment.
