Job summary

Deloitte, in partnership with Rockford Resourcing, seeks an experienced Production Support / DevOps Engineer to support global derivatives trading production environments from its Waterloo office. Qualifications

• 6+ years’ experience in commodity trading and/or capital markets or investment banks.
• Strong understanding of major global futures exchanges and the trade lifecycle.
• Experience with OMS and trading platforms and related workflows.
• Familiarity with market data providers such as Bloomberg and Refinitiv.
• Operational experience supporting market data distribution platforms (RTDS, DACS, ADH, ADS).
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end trading workflows to improve stability and resilience.
• Support troubleshooting and issue resolution across teams.
• Act as SME for trading systems initiatives.
• Support scalable algorithmic trading technology in a compliant manner.
• Participate in on-call rotations and rapid incident response.
• Own system monitoring, reliability improvements and proactive troubleshooting.
• Perform root cause analysis from issue identification to resolution.
• Collaborate with traders, developers and stakeholders in a high-pressure trading room.
