Deloitte, in partnership with Rockford Resourcing, seeks an experienced Production Support / DevOps Engineer to support global derivatives trading production environments from its Waterloo office. • 6+ years’ experience in commodity trading and/or capital markets or investment banks.
• Strong understanding of major global futures exchanges and the trade lifecycle.
• Experience with OMS and trading platforms and related workflows.
• Familiarity with market data providers such as Bloomberg and Refinitiv.
• Operational experience supporting market data distribution platforms (RTDS, DACS, ADH, ADS).
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure.

The Role

As aProduction Support / DevOps Engineer, you will be a hands-on member of a small,high-performing team responsible for supporting global derivatives tradingproduction environments. The role will be driven by both product teampriorities and engineering backlog items, including improvements and technicaldebt reduction.

KeyResponsibilities

• Manage critical end-to-end tradingworkflows proactively, improving stability and resilience in collaboration withdelivery and infrastructure teams.
• Support troubleshooting and issueresolution across development, support, and technical business users.
• Act as a subject matter expert fortrading systems initiatives.
• Support scalable algorithmic tradingtechnology in a compliant and flexible manner.
• Participate in the on-call rota as partof a global engineering team.
• Provide rapid incident response tomaintain continuous trading operations.
• Own system monitoring, reliabilityimprovements, and proactive troubleshooting.

Experience& Skills Required

• Knowledge of market data providers suchas Bloomberg and Refinitiv.
• Experience with liquidity aggregationplatforms.
• 3+ years’ experience with realtimemarket data distribution platforms, feedhandlers, and enterprise-levelconsolidated feeds.
• 3+ years’ experience with time seriesanalytic frameworks such as kdb or shakti.
• Front office application support andvendor management experience.
• Solid FIX engineering experience (3+years).
• Experience with exchange and vendorcertification.
• Knowledge of third-party networks andEMS/OMS vendors such as TT, NYFIX, Bloomberg, and TradingScreen.
• Experience debugging messaging systemsand network protocols such as TCP and multicast.
• Operational experience supportingmarket data distribution platforms, including RTDS and DACS, ADH, and ADScomponents.
• Knowledge of multicast data trafficmanagement, arbitration, and message queueing.
