Job summary

DRW is seeking a Software Engineer – Trading Operations to support trading desks in London, Singapore and Chicago. You will collaborate with traders, researchers and software engineers to optimize workflows and use the right tools and technology.

You will own products end-to-end, work across greenfield and legacy systems in Java and Python, and contribute to data pipelines and trading applications. On-call support and close stakeholder interaction are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field or material equivalent exposure.
• 2+ years of enterprise experience with Git, Python/Java, Linux.
• 2-3 years of experience in front office, middle office, back office, or risk management roles working with exchange traded and OTC products.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, break down problems, and synthesize and implement solutions.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of the products you create, from prototype to stable production.
• Embed with Cumberland Mining trading and operations stakeholders, and deliver polished, ergonomic, and elegantly engineered software solutions to business problems faced by the trading operation.
• Build, maintain and extend trading related applications, data pipelines, and solutions.
• Work with both greenfield and legacy systems across multiple languages (Java, Python).
• Provide on-call support as needed.
