ExxonMobil Global Trading in London is seeking a talented professional to join its trading team. You will support commodity traders through the deal lifecycle, from conception to realization, and help monitor markets with analytics and dashboards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a numerate subject (science/engineering/economics/finance).
• Experience in physical or financial commodity trading or related support functions (risk management, market analytics, or supply chain scheduling).
• Strong commercial acumen, entrepreneurial mindset and analytical/IT skills.
• Broad personal effectiveness and leadership skills to influence decisions in a multi-cultural team.
• Fluent English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Daily position monitoring, analysis and balancing within a market.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal customers.
• Lead resolutions with back office functions.
• Identify commercial opportunities across the value chain including storage, gathering and long-haul transportation agreements.
• Develop complex global and regional balances to inform trading opportunities.
• Develop and maintain live dashboards to provide technical and fundamental analysis.
• Evaluate routine trading economics.
• Prepare economics and relevant documentation for term contracts and complex tenders, interfacing with risk control, operations, optimization, schedulers and other teams.
• Assist with special projects, testing and roll-outs as required.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of trade execution processes.
• Monitor quality across gathering, storage and transportation assets.
• Provide coverage to supply chain schedulers as required.
• Provide coverage for the desk trader, subject to experience and development.
