Job summary

ExxonMobil is seeking an experienced Trading Regulatory & Compliance Advisor to join its London-based trading and compliance team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work at the heart of global energy markets, supporting regulatory compliance across crude oil, refined products, gas, LNG and derivatives trading activities.

The successful candidate will monitor regulatory developments, oversee compliance frameworks, and provide compliance advice to commercial trading teams.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving abilities are essential.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills are required.
• Knowledge of regulatory reporting, trade surveillance and compliance monitoring is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with UK, European and international regulations for energy trading activities.
• Coordinate regulatory reporting across crude, products, gas and derivatives.
• Review new trading products and business initiatives for regulatory impact.
• Develop and maintain compliance policies, procedures and monitoring programmes.
• Support audits, regulatory reviews and investigations when required.
