Job summary
ExxonMobil Global Trading is seeking a commercially minded analyst to support daily position monitoring and market analysis. You will build relationships with internal customers, coordinate with back-office, and lead resolutions across teams to identify opportunities across storage, gathering, and transportation.
The role demands a numerate degree, trading experience, and strong leadership in a multi-cultural environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a numerate subject (science/engineering/math/economics/finance).
- Experience in physical or financial commodity trading or risk management.
- Strong commercial acumen and analytical/IT skills.
Responsibilities
- Daily position monitoring and balancing within a given market.
- Build relationships with key internal customers and coordinate with back office.
- Lead resolutions with supporting back office functions.
- Identify commercial opportunities across storage, gathering and long-haul transportation.
- Develop global and regional balances to enhance trading opportunities.
- Develop and maintain live dashboards for market analysis and opportunities.
- Evaluate routine trading economics and documentation for term contracts.
- Assist with risk control, operations, optimization, schedulers and other teams.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of trade execution processes.
- Provide coverage for the desk trader as needed.
