Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required from an accredited college or university.
• Experience in a similar role in the energy / commodity trading industry or supporting a bank energy desk.

Responsibilities

• Perform counterparty evaluations and risk assessments with credit limit recommendations and guidance to traders.
• Provide real-time support to trading teams on credit risks in spot and term deals.
• Assist in design and development of future credit risk capabilities and system requirements.
• Support origination and structured finance teams in credit-related structures across commodities.
• Advise on credit provisions, collateral requirements and security in trade and credit agreements.
• Monitor regional trade portfolios and flag material risks to Credit and Trading managers.
