Owen Daniels in Birmingham is seeking an International Trade & Logistics Specialist to coordinate import/export operations, ensure compliance and optimise cost and lead times. The role partners with freight forwarders, customs brokers and internal teams to secure compliant, efficient movement of goods.

You will manage customs documentation, support audits, monitor performance KPIs and contribute to continuous improvement in a growing precision manufacturing business.

Qualificações

• Experience in import/export operations and international logistics coordination.
• Strong understanding of shipping processes and documentation requirements.
• Knowledge of customs procedures and compliance requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Import & Export Operations: manage day-to-day activities for international and domestic shipments.
• Coordinate schedules with customers, freight forwarders and internal departments.
• Prepare and review shipping documents (invoices, packing lists, customs docs).
• Ensure compliance with regulatory obligations and contractual commitments.
• Monitor shipment progress and resolve issues with transport providers.
• Maintain shipment records and reporting data in company systems.
