Job summary

SMBC Group is seeking an Assistant Vice President for Export Development Solutions in London. The role focuses on origination, execution and distribution of transactions with Export Credit Agencies, DFIs and MDBs, under guidance from senior team members.

It requires strong analytical skills and effective communication, with travel within the EMEA region expected. The team supports the origination, execution and distribution of transactions, and the candidate will work with VP and Director level

Qualifications

• Experience in Export Credit Agency (ECA) financing and related structures.
• Strong analytical and financial modelling capabilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication across interfaces with clients and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Support execution of transactions and marketing activities for ECA-related deals.
• Review financial statements, models and due diligence materials.
• Interact with Credit, Syndications, Operations and clients to advance deals.
