SMBC Group is seeking a proactive professional to join the Markets & Trade Management Group in London. You will support high‑quality trade management controls, ensuring accurate pricing, valuation and market data, while collaborating with Front Office, Finance & Control, Risk and Technology to strengthen the control environment.

The role focuses on daily BAU delivery, end‑of‑day controls, and monthly reporting, contributing to operational stability and compliant processes across FX and Money

Formación

• Experience in Middle Office/Trade Management or similar Financial Markets function.
• Understanding of pricing, valuation or market data control processes.
• Experience performing trade reconciliations, exception management and control activities.
• Knowledge of FX/Money Market products and trade lifecycles.
• Experience within a robust control and governance framework.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Advanced Excel skills for MI, analysis and reporting.

Responsabilidades

• Perform pricing and valuation controls through market data validation, price uploads and curve maintenance.
• Monitor trade, pricing and market data issues; escalate as needed.
• Investigate valuation and reconciliation exceptions; coordinate remediation.
• Manage trade lifecycle events, exception monitoring and reconciliation across Financial Markets products (FX/Money Market).
• Produce management information and control reporting for operational oversight.
• Maintain and enhance control frameworks; ensure policy and regulatory compliance.
• Develop documentation and risk records; pursue automation and straight-through processing.
• Collaborate with Front Office, Finance & Control, Risk, Operations and Technology.
