Job summary

J C Bamford Excavators Ltd (JCB) is seeking a Technical Trainer to equip our field-based Service Engineers across the UK and overseas with the knowledge to support new products, including electric and hydrogen innovations. You’ll design and deliver courses on machines, propulsion, control systems and major components.

You will work with product engineering to develop material, update curricula, and deliver training through eLearning, remote sessions and hands‑on workshops, while guiding career

Qualifications

• Experience designing and delivering technical training for field engineers.
• Ability to translate product updates into engaging training material.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Own NPIP training needs and delivery plans.
• Create and update training materials with engineering teams; deliver via eLearning, remote, and workshops.
• Support progression paths for Apprentice, Engineer and Master Technician.
• Develop online learning content and remote training packages.
• Collaborate with global training teams to standardize content and delivery.
• Assist the Global Aftersales and Technical Training Manager with training plans.
