Job summary

Arup in the United Kingdom seeks a Subsea Cable Technical Lead to guide offshore transmission projects from concept through FEED and delivery. You will lead subsea cable workstreams, liaise with clients and global teams, and shape technical solutions for HVDC/HVAC systems.

The role requires extensive experience in offshore export cable systems, FEED, detailed design and commissioning activities, and a Chartered Engineer with an advanced electrical engineering degree.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in offshore export cable systems (HVAC and HVDC).
• Experience supporting FEED, detailed design, construction or Owner's Engineer services.
• Ability to lead technical subsea cable workstreams and engage with clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership across offshore transmission projects.
• Lead subsea cable workstreams and ensure engineering assurance.
• Engage confidently with clients and global teams to deliver cost-effective solutions.
