Job summary

Legora is seeking a Statutory Reporting & Compliance Manager to own statutory reporting and regulatory compliance across the group. You will manage local accounts, deliverables, and stand up requirements for new markets, acting as the central point of contact for advisors and authorities.

You set the standard for processes, controls, and documentation in a structured, deadline-driven role that supports our expansion and ambitious growth.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of statutory accounting, audit or financial reporting with end-to-end ownership.
• Experience managing statutory compliance across multiple countries.
• Strong knowledge of statutory reporting in at least one jurisdiction.
• Proven track record with external advisors and authorities.
• Experience improving accounting processes and internal controls.
• Highly organized with excellent deadline management.
• Clear written communication translating complex changes into guidance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate statutory financial statements for entities under local rules (UK FRS 102, etc.).
• Prepare and file annual reports and exhibits with local authorities.
• Ensure local books are complete, accurate, and reconciled.
• Own compliance calendar and government filings across entities.
• Monitor regulatory changes and implement required process changes.
• Assess new markets' requirements and stand up compliant local processes.
• Act as primary contact for local authorities and advisors; maintain documentation.
