Job summary

Ocado Group in Hatfield is seeking a Central Spares Supply Planning Manager on a fixed‑term contract to lead a global team of planners responsible for spare parts and equipment for Customer Fulfilment Centres and client sites.

You will optimise inventory accuracy, advance Oracle Fusion MRP processes, mentor your team, and drive continuous improvement across end‑to‑end supply chain while coordinating with 3PL providers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Logistics, Business Management, or related discipline.
• Proven operations management experience within a demand and supply chain environment.
• Demonstrable line management experience with mentoring and developing teams.
• Deep understanding of S&OP and operational processes, with hands-on MRP/ERP experience.
• Proven track record of delivering continuous improvement across supply chain workflows.
• Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to interpret large datasets.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills across organizational levels.
• Proficiency with Excel, Google Workspace, CMMS, and ERP/MRP software.

Responsibilities

• Direct line management of Central Spares Supply Planners and mentor the team.
• Ensure material and finished goods availability to meet global demand plans.
• Lead development and enhancement of MRP planning within Oracle Fusion.
• Act as escalation point for supply planning issues and refine workflows.
