Job summary

Clifton Search is seeking a UK-based Senior Sole Counsel to lead the legal function for a newly acquired software/tech division. You will provide strategic legal guidance, oversee licensing negotiations (SaaS/IaaS/PaaS), and manage privacy/compliance across a global business.

You will lead high-value negotiations, work with international teams, and report to the CEO in a borderless, fast-growing environment.

Qualifications

• UK qualified solicitor with senior/lead experience in software/tech environments.
• Experience handling international contracts and licensing (SaaS/IaaS/PaaS).
• Strong data protection and privacy compliance knowledge.
• Ability to lead complex negotiations and provide strategic legal guidance.

Responsibilities

• Full legal responsibility for the newly acquired organisation.
