Job summary

Matillion, the company behind Maia, the AI Data Automation platform, seeks a Senior Manager, Solution Architecture to lead an international team across EMEA, MEA. You will drive revenue, customer success and architectural excellence.

You will sponsor high-value deals, shape strategy, and partner with regional ecosystems to scale impact, with a clear path toward Senior Director leadership roles.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in technical enterprise roles with at least 5+ years leading pre-sales teams.
• Proven enterprise solution selling with multi-stakeholder cycles and multi-million ARR targets.
• Experience implementing MEDDPICC or similar value-driven sales frameworks.
• Deep expertise in AWS/Azure/GCP and Data Platforms (Snowflake, Databricks).
• Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server, MongoDB).
• Hands-on integration architecture: APIs, Linux, SQL, data pipelines.
• Experience leading Generative/Agentic AI initiatives in enterprise settings.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of senior Solution Architects across EMEA, Middle East and Africa to drive revenue, success and execution.
• Join customer meetings and strategy sessions as executive technical sponsor on high-value deals.
• Manage team cadences, 1:1s, personal development plans, and track performance metrics.
• Drive GTM initiatives and operationalize the business to expand global footprint and revenue in 6–12 months.
• Develop partner strategies with regional ecosystems to align architectures and scale impact.
• Align with international leaders to unify pre-sales strategies with business goals.
