Avalara is seeking a driven Sales Development Representative to join the E-Invoicing & Live Reporting (ELR) sales development team. You’ll spearhead pipeline generation through outbound prospecting and inbound demand qualification, engaging multinational prospects and guiding them toward Account Executives.

• 1-2 years in a sales or customer-facing role.
• Proven ability to hit activity and pipeline targets.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to engage senior buyers.
• Strong organisation and time-management; balance outbound and inbound priorities.
• Curiosity, resilience, and willingness to learn in a complex market.
• Familiarity with Salesforce or sales tech stack is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Generate and qualify pipeline through outbound and inbound channels.
• Run effective discovery conversations to uncover pain, mandate exposure, and buying triggers.
