Job summary

Amazon UK Services Ltd. is seeking an experienced Corporate Counsel to support Amazon Leo’s international licensing activities. You will be embedded with the Amazon Leo team and handle regulatory licensing matters across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

The successful candidate will research complex legal issues related to satellite technology, collaborate with technical and regulatory colleagues, and advise senior leadership on risk, strategy, and deal outcomes. Some travel is expected.

Qualifications

• License to practice law in Europe, US or other common law jurisdiction.
• 5+ years of post-qualification legal experience in a law firm or in-house counsel role.
• Experience in satellite, telecom, or international regulatory matters is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and analyze complex regulatory licensing issues for satellite technology.
• Advise business and technical teams on risk mitigation and strategic implications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support international licensing matters across EMEA.
