Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) Legal team in London is seeking a talented technology lawyer to support AWS sales in the UK and Northern Europe, with cross-EMEA responsibilities. You will draft and negotiate strategic technology service agreements, provide regulatory guidance, and collaborate across teams to enable scalable cloud & IT services for public sector and enterprise customers.

Qualifications

License to practice law in Europe, US or other common law jurisdiction.
Experience in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts or equivalent.
Minimum of 2+ years post-qualification legal experience.
Previous work experience in a law firm, government, or in-house at a technology company.
Excellent communication, drafting and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

Drafting, negotiating, and advising on strategic technology service agreements with enterprise customers, public sector customers, and partners.
Provide legal support for local and regional services and initiatives, including regulatory interpretation and guidance for senior executives.
Serve as lead counsel on strategic sales transactions and partnership agreements.
Support UK public sector engagements, including Crown Commercial Service frameworks and G-Cloud procurements.
Pioneer AI-driven transformation of legal operations to improve contract review cycles and enable faster decisions.
