Job summary

JCB is seeking a senior SAP leader to report to the Head of Business Systems and deputize in their absence. You will lead the Global SAP Functional Team and govern the global SAP support strategy to maintain high availability of SAP services.

You will promote SAP standard processes across users, drive continuous improvements, and align solutions with the architectural strategy, while coordinating with offshore teams and product owners on key initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience managing global SAP environments and third-party providers.
• Experience with manufacturing processes and complex operations.
• Strong technical background to engage with both functional and technical SAP teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Global SAP Functional Team, ensuring high performance and alignment with business objectives.
• Own the operational health of global SAP systems, coordinating upgrades, security patching, testing, and maintenance activities.
• Control the purchase, allocation, and governance of SAP licences, ensuring compliance and cost efficiency.
• Manage SAP tenants, including access, configuration, and lifecycle management.
• Oversee SAP outages and service degradations, log and communicate incidents, and validate resolutions.
• Partner with product owners to provide SAP resources for strategic initiatives.
• Oversee incoming SAP support tickets, prioritise, track, and resolve through the functional teams.
