Job summary

The Config Team seeks a Senior SAP Project Manager to lead SAP ERP/S4HANA delivery and digital transformation programmes across different industries for UK-based clients. You will own end-to-end project governance, budgets, risks and stakeholder management, coordinating cross-functional teams and matrixed staff to realise value from SAP investments.

This permanent role offers leadership in large-scale SAP Supply Chain initiatives, including EWM and S/4 HANA, within a collaborative consultancy

Qualifications

Proven experience leading multiple SAP or large-scale digital transformation projects with end-to-end accountability.
Strong experience delivering SAP ERP and SAP S/4HANA projects within Supply Chain environments.
Experience managing complex, multi-stream programmes involving business and technology stakeholders.
Strong commercial awareness with experience managing project budgets, forecasts, risks, and contractual obligations.
Experience working within dynamic, matrixed organisations and managing cross-functional project teams.
Strong understanding of project governance, delivery methodologies, stakeholder management, and change control processes.
Experience using SAP Activate methodology; SAP Activate certification is advantageous.
Previous involvement in pre-sales activities including RFP responses, quotations, Statements of Work (SoW), customer assessments, and solution evaluations.
Previous line management, mentoring, or team leadership experience.
Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools including Microsoft Project, Jira, and Confluence.
Excellent planning, organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Confident presenting to senior leadership teams, steering committees, and customer stakeholders.
PRINCE2, MSP, PMP, AgilePM, or equivalent project/programme management qualification is desirable.
Valid UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

Lead planning and delivery of SAP ERP/S4HANA projects and digital transformation programmes for a portfolio of customers.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, with high quality and business value.
Provide governance, commercial oversight and stakeholder management across multiple workstreams.
Collaborate with customers, internal consultants and delivery teams to shape solutions and opportunities.
Help develop The Config Team's project management capability and delivery excellence.
