Qualifications

• Experience in sales administration, customer service or order processing is useful.
• Reliable with a mature attitude towards work.
• Highly organised and able to prioritise when several tasks need attention.
• Naturally detail-focused and checks own work.
• Confident when dealing with customers by telephone and email.
• IT confident and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Respond to enquiries and communicate with customers in the UK and overseas.
• Prepare quotations throughout the sales and order process.
• Research products and sourcing solutions to unusual customer requirements.
• Negotiate with suppliers and placing purchase orders.
• Processing customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Organising international shipments and working with freight companies.
• Monitoring orders and addressing delays or problems.
• Taking ownership of customer requirements through to completion.
• Working closely with the wider sales and operations team.
