Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a results-driven Manufacturing Improvement Leader to drive strategic initiatives across five global production sites. You will provide technical leadership, resolve complex process challenges, and work with RD&E to evaluate scalability and commercial viability of new products.

You will develop KPIs, mentor site teams in Six Sigma, and ensure safety and quality while partnering with commercial and operations teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or related scientific discipline.
5–15 years of experience with ion exchange resins, polymer resins, and water purification technologies.
Strong technical knowledge of polymerization processes, cross-linking chemistry, polymer functionalization, pendant group chemistry, and chemical manufacturing operations.
Experience with process safety, regulatory compliance, quality systems, and quality control methodologies within a chemical manufacturing environment.
Proven experience leading and implementing process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives in chemical production facilities.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
Ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional and global teams.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills.
Experience working in an international manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
Fluency in English, written and verbal, is mandatory.
Ability to travel up to 50% globally.
Six Sigma Green Belt certification required; Black Belt preferred.

Responsibilities

Build relationships with stakeholders across manufacturing, engineering, quality, supply chain, sales, marketing, and RD&E globally
Develop, monitor, and communicate KPIs
Prepare regular status updates and weekly reports on improvement initiatives, milestones, and business impact
Support site OGSM development and execution and participate in Project Days and operational review meetings
Document process improvements, technical evaluations, project outcomes, and best practices for global knowledge sharing
Report to the Manufacturing Director
Support operations across five global production facilities and a global 24/7 manufacturing network

Requirements
