Job summary

Valpak is recruiting an International Regulatory Advisor to join the Stratford-upon-Avon team. This permanent hybrid role requires two days per week in the office and offers exposure to PPWR Advisory, PPWR Packaging Portfolio Assessment and EPR compliance work.

You will coordinate regulatory updates, support account managers, and lead research projects to expand the knowledge base while advising clients on evolving international waste regulations.

• Ideally background/experience in research and report writing.

Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver PPWR Advisory and Packaging Portfolio Assessment (PPA) services.
• Coordinate regulatory updates from country experts to include in PPWR resources.
• Provide excellent customer service through account management of PPWR advisory and PPA service customers.
• Conduct additional research for customer queries and host regular meetings with clients.
• Colate updates related to PPWR and distribute to clients.
• Assist delivery of obligation report service and coordinate team to create reports.
• Lead and oversee obligation reports across the team.
• Develop understanding of international waste regulations for overseas sales.
• Advise customers on obligations under regulations using legislation/guidance.
• Act as a Special Point of Contact (SPOC) for a European country.
• Coordinate research across Valpak teams and provide feedback on processes.
• Support International Account Managers with technical guidance and PPWR/EPR queries.
• Proactively research new legislative areas.
