Job summary

Coventry University Group is seeking a Lecturer (teaching) in Product Design to lead teaching and course coordination for undergraduate, postgraduate, and professional programs. The role includes delivering modules at HE levels 4-7 and developing materials, assessments, and learning experiences for students.

Based in the Faculty of College of the Arts and Society with duties spanning the UK Coventry campus and the China-based Hainan campus, the role requires travel and some remote planning.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of sustained HE level teaching in a relevant subject (3+ years desirable).
• Master’s degree in an appropriate subject or Honours Degree with professional qualification and/or membership.
• A teaching qualification or willingness to acquire one if not held.
• PhD or active membership of a relevant professional body would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Teach on HE levels 4-7 modules in Product Design, developing and delivering learning materials and assessments.
• Deliver teaching in classroom and workshop settings supporting the full design journey from concept to prototype.
• Embed internationalisation and collaboration across curriculum and modules.
