Global Category Manager - Soft FM - £65,000 to £75,000 | 10% bonus, company car + full corporate benefits | Based out of either London, Warwickshire or Hampshire

This is an exciting opportunity to join a market-leading, truly global business with diverse operations.

They are seeking an experienced Category Manager with extensive expertise in Soft FM spend areas, focusing on managing large, complex projects.

The group function is undergoing a significant transformation, expanding its scope and offering ongoing opportunities for career progression.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Report to the Head of Global Procurement - Facilities Management, within a sizable team of colleagues at various levels.
• Develop, design, and continuously improve category strategies.
• Manage end-to-end sourcing within designated spend areas using a strategic approach.
• Collaborate with senior business leaders to develop category strategies and plans.
• Provide ongoing advice to stakeholders on market trends, innovations, and supplier market insights.
• Manage complex projects, both regulated and unregulated.
• Ensure strategic procurement delivers the best commercial value for the business.

Experience Required:

• Extensive experience in category management, specifically in Soft FM.
• Experience in categories such as waste, security, and landscaping procurement is desirable.
• Proven strategic category management experience in a large, complex organization.
• Track record of delivering savings in a similar-sized business.
• Ability to engage, negotiate, and influence senior stakeholders up to Board Level.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, adaptable to different relationship types, levels, and maturity.
• Experience working within a large, cross-functional procurement team.
• MCIPS qualification is preferred but not essential.
