Global Category Manager - Soft FM - £65,000 to £75,000 | 10% bonus, company car + full corporate benefits | Based out of either - London, Warwickshire or Hampshire

This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join a market-leading, truly global business with diverse operations.

They are seeking an experienced Category Manager with extensive expertise in Soft FM spend areas, focusing on managing large, complex projects.

The group function is undergoing a transformation, expanding its scope and offering ongoing opportunities for progression.

Role and responsibilities:

• Report to the Head of Global Procurement - Facilities Management, within a sizable team of colleagues at various levels
• Develop, design, and enhance category strategies
• Conduct end-to-end sourcing within designated spend areas using a strategic approach
• Collaborate with senior business leaders to develop category strategies and planning
• Provide continuous advice to stakeholders on market trends, innovations, and supplier market insights
• Manage and understand both regulated and unregulated complex projects
• Ensure strategic procurement delivers the best commercial value for the business

Experience required:

• Extensive category management experience in Soft FM
• Experience in waste, security, and landscaping procurement is advantageous
• Proven strategic category management in large, complex organizations
• Demonstrated ability to deliver cost savings in similar-sized businesses
• Ability to engage, negotiate, and influence senior stakeholders up to Board Level
• Strong stakeholder management skills, adaptable to different relationship types and maturity levels
• Experience working in a large, cross-functional procurement team
• MCIPS qualification is desirable but not essential
