Job summary

Ocado Group is hiring an experienced Procurement Manager to lead end-to-end supply for Third-Party MHE and build strategic supplier partnerships.

You will collaborate with engineering, projects and stakeholders, manage supplier performance and drive cost optimisations while ensuring on-time delivery and quality standards. The role is hybrid with two Hatfield office days and UK/international travel.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in procurement and supplier management.
• Experience of sourcing and contracting MHE goods and services.
• Supplier negotiation including commercial and contract terms.
• Hybrid role with 2 days per week in Hatfield and UK/abroad travel.
• Able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• High computer literacy; ERP, MS Office and Google Docs.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering, product development and projects to manage changes from concept to supply.
• Lead supplier relationship management with key suppliers.
• Assess impact of engineering changes with suppliers.
• Source, negotiate and contract to implement changes into supply chain.
• Provide commercial data for business cases.
• Develop and manage key suppliers and report KPIs.
• Ensure delivery of goods to schedule within budget and quality standards.
• Coordinate demand with manufacturing and suppliers.
• Identify risks and mitigate supply chain challenges.
• Resolve supply issues aligned with business needs.
• Drive process improvements for supply chain robustness.
