Job summary

Medtronic plc in Watford, United Kingdom is seeking a Pricing Manager to lead pricing strategy across Western Europe and beyond. You will collaborate with therapy leaders, finance, and regional teams to shape value-based pricing and drive profitability.

You will analyze pricing trends, develop models in Excel, and align with global pricing strategies, tender processes, and reimbursement frameworks, ensuring compliance and strong stakeholder alignment.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in pricing, pricing strategy, market optimization, product profitability, tender and reimbursements.
• Significant experience in price, sales or downstream/operational marketing, ideally in international pricing.
• Knowledge of tender and reimbursement systems in Europe.
• Excellent analytic and strategic skills with strong modelling ability (Excel).
• Act with autonomy and perform work with minimal direction.
• Strong leadership, business acumen and financial understanding, plus communication and negotiation skills.
• Experience managing cross-functional, cross-country issues in a matrix, intercultural environment.
• Fluent in English; any additional European language is a benefit.
• University degree or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Define, develop pricing strategy across the portfolio and customer segments.
• Evaluate pricing trends and recommend actions to meet strategic objectives.
• Conduct diagnostics to determine pricing levers and opportunities.
• Set pricing aspirations, monitor compliance, and assure system maintenance.
• Collaborate with Western Europe, Japan, Australia/New Zealand and global OU to implement value-based models.
• Review tenders and deals; provide recommendations to country business units and senior management.
• Implement operating mechanisms across regions to strengthen pricing as a key lever.
• Build consensus with stakeholders and drive pricing mindset across the organization.
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures and government regulations.
• Interact with OU leaders and Sales/Marketing to align on pricing initiatives.
