Job summary

Pet Media Group in the UK is seeking a senior PR professional to scale a seven-market storytelling playbook. You will transform marketplace data into trusted narratives, oversee media relations, and lead the group editorial calendar across markets with AI-assisted workflows.

The role combines data journalism, strategic comms and reporter-facing storytelling, enabling direct access to founders and country leads as PMG expands beyond the UK while maintaining high editorial standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in PR, communications or journalism with national or major regional coverage.
• Ability to derive story angles from data and sanity-check numbers.

Responsibilities

• Turn marketplace data into publishable stories and trends.
• Build and manage a group editorial calendar per market.
• Own trust and safety transparency reporting for distribution to journalists and stakeholders.
• Mine breeder reviews and support conversations for human-interest stories.
• Act as PMG's press desk and maintain journalist relations.
• Brief country leads and founders as spokespeople with talking points and Q&A.
