Job summary

WPP Media in London seeks an SVP, Global Client Data & Tech Lead to drive data-led transformation for a major global client, shaping data, technology, and AI strategies across Discovery, Planning, Activation and Measurement.

You will partner with CMOs and senior stakeholders, build and lead a team of data professionals, and ensure responsible use of data while delivering measurable growth. The role combines strategic vision with hands-on delivery in a hybrid setup.

Qualifications

• Experience leading data/analytics initiatives in an agency or client-side environment.
• Ability to define data strategy and governance across marketing channels.
• Proven capability to design and implement measurement frameworks.
• Experience guiding technology decisions and data-driven AI initiatives.
• Strong leadership and mentorship to large cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Own client data narrative and drive growth with key stakeholders across CMOs, IT and Finance.
• Lead data strategy to define data collection, organization and deployment across markets.
• Oversee measurement design, targets and reporting for marketing effectiveness.
• Guide implementation of cloud data, martech, adtech, AI, and analytics systems.
• Educate and mentor client teams on data capabilities and priorities.
