Job summary

Schroders in London is seeking a Position Management Lead to own our global workforce planning capability, partnering with P&C, business leaders, and Talent Acquisition. You will be the SME for Position Management, ensuring data integrity and governance across locations.

The role combines strategic advisory with hands-on operational delivery, requiring comfort with budgets, complex cases, and driving improvements to processes.

Qualifications

• Experience in Position Management and job architecture within HR operations.
• Experience in a global, matrixed organisation.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities.
• Comfort with budgets, numerical analysis and workforce planning.
• Experience with Oracle HR systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with P&C BPs, business leaders, Talent Acquisition, and Reward to enable global Position Management.
• Provide governance guidance and manage exceptions.
• Challenge requests not aligned to policy and propose alternatives.
• Analyze budgets and workforce data to inform planning.
• Size and grade roles using job architecture software.
• Identify issues and deliver process improvements.
